Every Friday evening, the baking begins ready for the weekend ahead. The shelves are filled with a tempting selection of fresh bakes, including cakes, brownies, cinnamon rolls, cookies, and dessert boxes, with treats available throughout the weekend and into Monday.
One of the most rewarding parts of running Shamy's Cakes has been building a loyal community of returning customers. Seeing familiar faces come back week after week to try new flavours and support a local small business makes all the hard work worthwhile.
Like any small business, the journey hasn't always been easy. Balancing family life, health, and running the cake shed has brought its challenges, but watching Shamy's Cakes grow little by little has made every step worthwhile.
